Small and Rural Hospitals Survey
The Small and Rural Hospitals Survey asks for feedback from people who have recently been admitted to one of the smaller NSW public hospitals, typically in rural locations.
Each year we send surveys to around 18,000 people from these facilities, approximately three months after the end of their hospital stay.
More than 6500 patients told us about their experiences of care in smaller NSW public hospitals
Overall, most patients said they had positive experiences of care, 'very good' 77%, 'good', 19%
69% of patients said they were 'definitely' involved in decisions about their care
